Meet our Magnificent Makers
Little Inventors wants children to open their eyes to the world of invention and creativity. But beyond the invention drawings, there is a unique opportunity for children and makers, designers and artists to come together and collaborate to bring children’s imagination to life.
By taking children’s ideas seriously and presenting them in a professional manner through collaboration with skilled makers, we will help showcase children’s original ideas, perspectives and voices.
We also want to challenge the skills and experience of adult makers, and encourage them to push beyond their own limits by engaging with the highly imaginative and unhindered minds of young children.Do you make things?

Simple man selling own simple product, would love my own shed :) A BIG ONE
I am a PhD student researching the Social Futures of Additive Manufacturing and an Associate Lecturer of Architecture. I am one of the founders of HackBurn which is a Hackspace in Blackburn (Lancashire) that is open every Wednesday night at The Making Rooms (FabLab).
I've experience as an Electrical Systems Engineer that has also set up an Escape room business using puzzles and electronics that I have created. My business is quite new but I am really liking the process of thinking up an idea, sketching it, building it and then seeing if it works how I imagined. In my spare time I also maintain and modify an old Land Rover which requires just as much ingenuity to keep it running.
I'm a designer and maker working mostly in paper. I love working collaboratively to bring ideas to life through making and discovering new creative techniques. I use prototyping as part of my design research process and to help communicate innovative solutions to clients.
I am an artist blacksmith and props builder from Norwood Ontario.
I specialize in medieval artifacts and weaponry of all kinds in metal and wood.

I am a design researcher and educator with a focus on participatory design and design thinking in different educational contexts. I constantly question my social responsibilities as a designer; I see designing beyond the production of material goods and enjoy it as production of ideas too.
I have always been quite creative as a child, painting, ceramics, sculptures, and later furniture in cardboard. I use my personal experiences, countries where I have lived, colors, sceneries, design which will influence my inspiration and I then implement all of these in my creative work.
I'm a freelance designer and illustrator based in Liverpool. I love using bold and bright colours and details to create fun and whimsical visuals. When I'm not illustrating, I'm a UI/UX mobile designer designing apps and digital products.
I work at the Canadian Space Agency and love to help build and operate spacecraft and space experiments.
