Put your inventing skills to the test with a Little Inventors challenge!
What is the Open Challenge you ask? Well, it's what it says on the tin, it's wide open for you to let your creativity flow and invent whatever you want! Yes, anything you can think of. How about a super scooter that the whole family can ride on? Or a device that stops your feet getting all sweaty (and stinky!)
Take the challenge and we will give you ten bookish prompts to choose from! Will you invent a new potion to rival a certain marvellous medicine? Or design a very magical beast? We're sure you will find something to suit your reading taste. This challenge is perfect for all you little inventors that are bookworms too!
Will you answer the call to Go Green? Our daily routines make up our impact on the planet and contribute to problems like climate change and pollution. We need you to invent to save our world and think up solutions that will improve the health of it now and for generations to come. The ways we Eat, Travel, and Play all have an impact. Let's GO GREEN for a better planet!
Do you dare to invent? We challenged you to come up with invention ideas that were useful, ingenious or just plain fun!
The Operation Lift Off: MISD Mission Moon project consisted of six space-themed activity packs designed to allow students to invent without limits. Together, we explored the depths of space and the outer limits of our imagination!
We tasked you with thinking up new, fun, or helpful invention ideas and to save your old, unwanted things from going in the bin! You had awesome ideas for brand new ‘re-inventions’!
Growing Together asked children who benefit from Children Heard and Seen's help to think about growing emotionally and ways to help each other grow. For Children's Mental Health Week 2022, we encouraged children to consider how they have grown and how they can help others to grow.
The Little Inventors Protect our Oceans - Mini challenge project consisted of six ocean-themed challenges designed to be done as a quick and fun activity at home or school or be delivered to students as a series of full lessons.
You could choose one mini-challenge or do all six of them!
