Put your inventing skills to the test with a Little Inventors challenge!
Will your imagination change the world? Children of South Tyneside will be taking part in this spectacular challenge, delivered in collaboration with Dogger Bank Wind Farm and South Tyneside Council. Year 4 and year 5 pupils will invent using wind and invent to create renewable energy from movement. Time to get moving and shaking, thinking and making!
Inventors from Michigan have changed the world with their ideas, from the humble lightbulb to futuristic fiber optic and many more jaw-dropping inventions in between. For this year’s challenge we learned from the past and looked to the future to find out if you had what it takes to make history with your invention ideas!
For this challenge, we have selected SDG 13 - Climate Action and challenged students from four schools in Ontario, Canada, to invent something to help prevent climate change and protect our planet.
Adam Kay and Puffin teamed up with Young V&A, a new museum in London designed to energise young creators, to offer the chance to win a truly one-of-kind prize. Kay’s Incredible Inventions' illustrator Henry Paker will draw the winning entry and Little Inventors will build it in real-life! The winner will also receive membership to Young V&A and their invention will feature in the paperback edition of Kay’s Incredible Inventions published in May 2024.

We asked you to invent to save our world and think up solutions to improve the health of it now and for generations to come. The ways we Eat, Travel, and Live all have an impact.
