Put your inventing skills to the test with a Little Inventors challenge!
Become an inventing supernova! This activity book is full of ideas to help you come up with new inventions that are out of this world.
This challenge asked you to solve real-life problems via invention. We asked you to think about the problems those living in rural areas face and think up some creative solutions!
You thought up and drew invention ideas to help all wildlife in Alexandra Park, from bats and ducks, to foxes and many insects! During a time of isolation when we were not always able to enjoy our parks as we normally would, we wanted to celebrate the wonders and benefits of our natural world and invited you to help us!
You had the chance to become an ocean scientist and think of inventions to protect and improve the health of our oceans.
Thank you for being part of the solution!
Nearly a fifth of the food we buy ends up in the bin! And lots of that is food that is perfectly edible, but still we throw it away because we prepare too much or we're not sure about how fresh it is. We challenged you to become a food hero: could you invent something to help reduce the food you throw away at home?
Scientists agree that we have to change how we live so we can take better care of our world and keep it amazing. This is where YOU come in…
We asked you to think up invention ideas to generate energy, save energy, or use energy better. An exciting showcase exhibition took place in early 2020 at Birmingham City University!
Did you think up invention ideas to generate energy, save energy, or use energy better? We asked kids across the North East to take part in the challenge and the winners had their idea shown in a special exhibition in Tees Valley!
