Will your imagination change the world? Children of South Tyneside will be taking part in this spectacular challenge, delivered in collaboration with Dogger Bank Wind Farm and South Tyneside Council. Pupils will invent inspired by our awesome ocean to help make it a better places for all living beings on Earth. Let's make waves and help look after our beautiful seas together!

Will your imagination change the world? Children of South Tyneside will be taking part in this spectacular challenge, delivered in collaboration with Dogger Bank Wind Farm and South Tyneside Council. Year 4 and year 5 pupils will invent using wind and invent to create renewable energy from movement. Time to get moving and shaking, thinking and making!

Inventors from Michigan have changed the world with their ideas, from the humble lightbulb to futuristic fiber optic and many more jaw-dropping inventions in between. For this year’s challenge we learned from the past and looked to the future to find out if you had what it takes to make history with your invention ideas!

Adam Kay and Puffin teamed up with Young V&A, a new museum in London designed to energise young creators, to offer the chance to win a truly one-of-kind prize. Kay’s Incredible Inventions' illustrator Henry Paker will draw the winning entry and Little Inventors will build it in real-life! The winner will also receive membership to Young V&A and their invention will feature in the paperback edition of Kay’s Incredible Inventions published in May 2024.
