Little Inventors wants children to open their eyes to the world of invention and creativity. But beyond the invention drawings, there is a unique opportunity for children and makers, designers and artists to come together and collaborate to bring children’s imagination to life.
By taking children’s ideas seriously and presenting them in a professional manner through collaboration with skilled makers, we will help showcase children’s original ideas, perspectives and voices.
We also want to challenge the skills and experience of adult makers, and encourage them to push beyond their own limits by engaging with the highly imaginative and unhindered minds of young children.

I’m Honey, a maker who loves to see the variety of environmentally conscious ideas that young people invent! I enjoy experimenting with different processes and finding environmentally friendly materials to work with.
Hi, I’m Siyan Jin, a Environmental Design student at OCAD University. I’m passionate about how space and design can shape feelings, bring people together, and reconnect us with nature. I love designing playful, meaningful experiences—whether it’s a tiny house in the woods, a sculpture made of sticks and stones, or a joyful community event. I’m always excited to make things that spark imagination and connection.
Orbital FX are prop makers based in the UK's North East, specializing in creating high-quality, detailed props and costume pieces for film, TV, and themed events, using advanced techniques like 3D printing, CNC fabrication, mould making, and electronics integration to bring imaginative designs to life for major projects like The Mandalorian and Disneyland.
Carl has an interest in a broad range of design areas and has worked for a number of years teaching on various Animation and Design programmes at the University of Sunderland.
I am a student at CCS (College for Creative studies) majoring in Industrial Design. I enjoy every step of the creative process, from brainstorming ideas to presenting the final product. I like to learn new tools and optimize my process and techniques as much as possible. In my free time I like to draw, design characters, and writing stories.
I take pride in seeing 'really cool things' that can't exist- and help argue that they should through design.
Since 1969, TARUS has been a world leader that builds custom machines for heavy industry. Starting out of a garage, TARUS pioneered many important developments in the machine tool business including key innovations in Gundrilling machines, we invented the Claymill, and we developed a Graphical User Interface 2 years before Apple in the early 1980s. We are vertically integrated, meaning we build everything from scratch in-house for our machines.

Hello, my name is Emily! I am a product design student from College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. I have a background in fine arts and illustration. What drives me as a designer is helping people express their unique identities through the objects they interact with daily.
