Meet our Magnificent Makers
Little Inventors wants children to open their eyes to the world of invention and creativity. But beyond the invention drawings, there is a unique opportunity for children and makers, designers and artists to come together and collaborate to bring children’s imagination to life.
By taking children’s ideas seriously and presenting them in a professional manner through collaboration with skilled makers, we will help showcase children’s original ideas, perspectives and voices.
We also want to challenge the skills and experience of adult makers, and encourage them to push beyond their own limits by engaging with the highly imaginative and unhindered minds of young children.
Do you make things?Join the fun!

Hello, my name is Emily! I am a product design student from College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. I have a background in fine arts and illustration. What drives me as a designer is helping people express their unique identities through the objects they interact with daily. Another big passion of mine is floral design, and it's a big influence on my product design work.
I'm currently a product design student at CCS. I love every bit of the design process from ideating the concepts, modeling, prototyping and presenting and final result. I love seeing my ideas come to life and growing as a designer.

The design team brings years of education and experience to the product design board and are excited to help bring Little Inventors’ visions to life!
Founder of SK Robotics at 15, I design and build electrical robots, winning the Network Rail Innovation Award and runner-up Intermediate Engineer of the Year 2023. I’ve built a combustion engine and remote-control car, showcasing hands-on technical skill. My YouTube channel, SK Robotics @ suleymaancreates, documents inventions using Arduino, 3D printing, and more. A Young Engineers Club member and MAKE UK judge, I pitched a vision to teach engineering to disadvantaged kids at 11. I’ve flown a self-built RC plane and shadowed Professor Winfield at Bristol Robotics Lab. Outside engineering, I enjoy football, boxing coaching, and family time.
