Students at Epinay Business and Enterprise School in South Shields have been turning their imaginations towards the planet, creating inventive solutions to environmental challenges as part of the Climate Action Heroes challenge from Little Inventors.

Three young inventors from South Tyneside have taken an exciting step towards seeing their ideas brought to life, after visiting Orbital FX on 24 February as part of Little Inventors’ Making Waves: Inventing for a Better Ocean challenge.

Excitement is building for one of the winning ideas from Little Inventors’ Making Waves: Inventing for a Better Ocean challenge, as Oliver, aged 11, from Monkton Primary School in South Shields, recently visited Osbit’s base at the Port of Tyne to begin the journey of turning his invention into reality.

Little Inventors recently visited Stanhope Primary School in South Shields to deliver a hands-on invention workshop as part of our ongoing Climate Action Heroes challenge - and the ideas that emerged were nothing short of inspiring.

We are absolutely delighted to share that one of the winning inventions from our S&DR200: Next Stop the Future! challenge has been celebrated on the other side of the Atlantic - with a special civic recognition in Markham, Canada.
