Meet our Magnificent Makers

Little Inventors wants children to open their eyes to the world of invention and creativity. But beyond the invention drawings, there is a unique opportunity for children and makers, designers and artists to come together and collaborate to bring children’s imagination to life.

By taking children’s ideas seriously and presenting them in a professional manner through collaboration with skilled makers, we will help showcase children’s original ideas, perspectives and voices.

We also want to challenge the skills and experience of adult makers, and encourage them to push beyond their own limits by engaging with the highly imaginative and unhindered minds of young children.

The Forges de Montréal's mission, since 2000, is to preserve and nurture the intangible cultural heritage (also called 'living heritage') of the blacksmith. Housed in a historical building, the organization is mostly run by a group of artisanal blacksmiths with a high level of expertise acquired at local, provincial, national, and international levels. Forges oversees events, workshops, demonstrations. Our craftmans create and design all with objects of passion!

In my spare time I enjoy making in many different disciplines.  I particularly enjoy when I decide to make something custom to fit a particular need and I have the time to think on the design, find reasonably priced parts and work through prototypes until I have found a useable object.  I find the process of making things very therapeutic.

As an artist, I have developed a practice of experimenting with my own ideas which seem boundless.  ‘What if’ is a question I am always asking.  Curiosity and research drive me daily.  I am enamoured with the texture that can be created with my materials. I am drawn to the limitless modes of expression available in creating with the many mediums I use.
I rarely start out with the end in mind but believe that my research and intuition will yield knowledge at the very least.   I am willing to try something new and pushing boundaries gives me much pleasure.

I am an electronics enthusiast who likes to fiddle around with the Arduino, and other parts, such as timers, Op-Amps, and micro controllers.   In addition, I also make non-electronic things.  Not only do I make projects, I also post them on Instructables and YouTube.  Links are below:
