Brushing Explosions

Giselle came up with the idea for her brushing explosions invention as a part of the Aquafresh Inventors Academy challenge. Her toothpaste creation kit allows you to create your own flavour toothpaste and customise your toothbrush too!

The finished brushing explosions kit is a combination of a science experiment and a arts and crafts activity. All in all making brishing your teeth far more interesting.

The Brushing explosions was brought to life by the team at Little Inventors. Imagination officer Chelsea Vivash says,

'We had a lot of fun bringing Giselle's creative invention idea to life. I especially liked that all the elements of the kit can be customised to make limitless toothbrush and toothpaste combinations. We decided to use a wooden box and wooden toothbrushes as well as plain containers for the toothpaste, so that there is plenty of room for Giselle to add her colourful and creative additions. She is able to customise the box as well as the contents. I especially enjoyed bringing Giselle's toothbrush topper characters to life, as I think it brings an extra element of fun to the box!, we hope that Giselle has hours of brush time fun with this invention!'

You can create your own toothpaste flavours by adding some of our Inventors Academy flavouring, in various tastes.

The invention includes various decorations to customise the toothbrush and toothpaste bottles, as well as some friendly toothbrush topping characters!

Chief inventor Dominic Wilcox presented the finished Brushing explosions to Giselle at the Science Museum.

As well as having her invention brought to life, Giselle also won a sleepover for her whole class at the Science museum, how cool is that!
