Did you answer the call to Go Green? Our daily routines make up our impact on the planet and contribute to problems like climate change and pollution. We asked you to invent to save our world and think up solutions to improve the health of it now and for generations to come. The ways we Eat, Travel, and Live all have an impact. Let's GO GREEN for a better planet!
We all have our favourite characters from books. But imagine if you could invent your very own, special character to call your own - created by your brilliant and unique imagination. What would they be? What would they do? Where would they live? Anything goes...
What is the Open Challenge you ask? Well, it's what it says on the tin, it's wide open for you to let your creativity flow and invent whatever you want! Yes, anything you can think of. How about a super scooter that the whole family can ride on? Or a device that stops your feet getting all sweaty (and stinky!)? Get thinking, get creating, and get making!
Take the challenge and we will give you ten bookish prompts to choose from! Will you invent a new potion to rival a certain marvellous medicine? Or design a very magical beast? We're sure you will find something to suit your reading taste. This challenge is perfect for all you little inventors that are bookworms too!
December is the season to hang the stockings, roll up the snowmen, and snuggle up with a hot chocolate. The Christmas period can get very busy - no one feels this more than Father Christmas! Did you invent something snazzy and creative and amazingly unique that helped him relax, helped with all the presents, or added improvements to his sleigh?
