The Extention Hand

Carl Gregg, one of our Magnificent makers brought the extention hand to life!
He said about the invention
'I loved the idea for this invention. I am really tall so although I would not need this myself, it would save me so much time as people always ask me to reach things for them. If I had the Extension Hand, I could lend to people so I they could reach things for themselves and I could get on with making things!
The other thing that I really liked about this design was it gave me the opportunity to make a 3D printed hand that was developed by the e-Nable network (www.enablingthefuture.org). This is a group of people who have their own 3D printers and the use them to make 3D printed prosthetic hands for those in need. At least 1800 people (mainly children) have been helped by this fantastic group.'
