This invention is inspired by the light of an anglerfish and is made for anyone who reads at night. It has a bioluminescent light like an anglerfish to help you see your book. You can change the color of the light! The velcro strap is adjustable. It has a built-in timer so you can keep track of how long you've been reading. It has a microphone and speaker so you can record yourself reading.

Hello! I'm sorry for the lack of posts- I was in Japan and my wifi was spottier than I expected! Progress is coming along smoothly though, so do not worry! Here are some of my initial ideas and sketches.

First Meeting

On April 22nd, I met Mackenzie! MacKenzie told me she was inspired to design this product because she has to time how long she reads for her class' reading log and thought it would be helpful to have both a light and a timer on hand! I think this a great idea, I had the same problems when I had to time myself for reading logs and I love to read when it's dark out. We discussed some different color ideas, and we decided to go with a color palette of purple, orange, and yellow.
