Skills:As a prop maker it is important to have adaptable techniques to fit any brief. My skills include woodworking, sculpting, mould making and casting, scenic painting and hand sewing, although I will turn my hand to any new process that a particular project requires. I have experience working to a variety of budgets, low budget projects have made me particularly skilled at scavenging and repurposing existing objects. Each project I have completed expands the archive of skills to be used next time!
Hello, my name is Emily and I am a Yorkshire based freelance prop maker, happiest when tackling an obscure challenge! I have a background in Architecture and retrained in Art Direction and Set Design. I specialise in miniatures and have several years experience working in stop motion animation. I have also recently opened Escape Rooms Beverley, an escape room heavily focussed on immersive design and playful puzzles. I love any project designed to bring delight to others, and I look forward to working with anybody who shares this view!
