The Ghost Net Buster

The Ghost Net Buster is a robot that collects ghost nets that are harming many ecosystems and killing sea life. It uses solar panels and has little oar-like legs that paddle the robot through the water, in a way similar to a water strider. There is also a propeller for faster travel and better control over the movement of the bot. There is a camera to spot any ghost nets and detect if any animals are inside. There is a containment area to put the ghost nets in and a robot arm on top for reaching nets and untangling fish and other marine life. Ghost nets are fishing nets that are abandoned or lost in the ocean but are a real problem to all things in the ocean and kill thousands of marine animals per year. The G.N.B. is here to save them our oceans.
