This is a very interesting invention idea James - it will definitely help to create some renewable energy but I'm not sure I would want to be near the volcano when it erupts! You've done a very good drawing James which I think shows your idea very clearly and this is a very important skill to have as an inventor... A truly great inventor in the making!
