This is definitely an original invention Norah, how fantastic that you want to help a chicken to fly! You may well be right that it's a chicken's dream to fly, but of course they can't do this themselves. The chicken might need a few practises with your invention, but hopefully before long it'll be flying alongside the other sky birds and conquering it's dream, just don't pull the spring too far back for the first couple of goes!
