The end Product

Now that I have completed all the elements that make up the animation I put them all together to make up the final video.

The last element
Posted by Tobi Omotoso

This was the last element of project, which is to show what will happen when you scan a food and that you will be rewarded with a sweet when you maintain a low sugar intake over 3 days.

Scanning feature

The next step would be to create the augmented reality like feature which will show the device scanning the foods for  the amount of sugar that it contains.

I've picked 3 different foods to demonstrate as examples to show how the device will work when it scans the foods for sugar which I filmed on my phone camera. The three foods I selected were an apple, Pringles and a biscuit.

After effects comp

I rendered it out in Cinema 4D and placed the 3D model into after effects to work with the first animation that i had already created in the previous software .
The first task that i set myself in after effects was to start of by showing the account being created.

Adding more detail to the model

I then added more features that make up the scanner such as the screen, the speaker , the camera , and the buttons as well as the dispenser for the sweets.
Once I had created the parts for the model of the phone, I then added the colours similar to what is like on the drawing to each part of the model by creating materials for  each part.
for the final part of the second stage I began to create the first animation to highlight the phone which would be an x 360 rotation of the phone, which I will then loop in after effects.

Modelling the food scanning device
Posted by Tobi Omotoso

i began by Creating the base of the model for the food scanner in cinema 4d using a rectangle which i then curved the edges so that it matched the drawing. i also gave it some depth so the model did not look flat.
