Now that the digger is finished, we had to create a poster that showcase the fantastic idea. Here is our initial planning for it and a first draft.

Decorating
Posted by Kaja Gagol

Before everything was stuck together we had to paint and decorate the pieces.

We then go to actually building it. We had to shape the body panels,  the tail and bucket  ( with a working hinge!)

From there, we got the resources needed for making and decorating the digger ready

There it is- a camouflage digger, which collects dog's waste and then neatly uses it for growing plants.

The poster

This is the first scratch of a poster, I was thinking of a paper cut-out background, however I have passed it to my colleague.

Small additions for the poster- Illustrator.

This is how the pieces transformed into the decorations. I have also helped myself with an Illustrator and created a dragon-like eye.

Choosing fluffy material to add more 3D-like volume and the colouristically for the camouflage.

Mixed media in use

Choosing the materials, such as glittery paper, stones, colour textures, sequins, and wooden sticks and preparing cut-out pieces of cardboard.

Thinking of how the chameleon would look like and decided on the shape, what I liked and how many diggers I needed.

The palette is green so it is going to be a chameleon- king of camouflage. I am going to highly decorate the cardboard and the hands will be movable diggers looking more convincing. These are Finlay original ideas, the camouflage and Yippe Kay Ay's character.
