Cat Rocket Boots with 4 Arms

My final model of Pauls design.

Final 3D poster; I decided to glue the physical elements together and have them overlapping the background before painting the text on by hand.

I have been building the final model in the workshop, I bought a soft toy cat to build my model around, using two balsa wood blocks I began to carve out the shoes, I then created a body harness and added the arms without the use of screws or glue, just tight fitting joints and wooden pins, I then added some acrylic and PVC details to the boots and finally created the hands for the robot arms (the only parts which were glued, due to being fragile) the whole model was spray painted and given a patina with sandpaper and files to make it look worn and used.

The process of creating my poster, I made 3 different elements and brought them together, using a mix of spray paint, watercolour paints and paint markers.

I done a full size render over a realistic cat, and then created a prototype of rocket boots at a 1:1 scale, using card.
