The Lost & Found Office of Oddities Workshop at Bede Family Hub

Bede Family Hub sits in the heart of the Jarrow community and offers a warm, welcoming space for families, with activities, support and services for children and young people. It is the perfect place for a morning of imagination, invention and highly unusual Office business.

In this hands-on workshop, The Lost & Found Office of Oddities will be looking to recruit new trainee staff. Participants will be invited to inspect mysterious items from the archive, imagine where they may have come from, decide what they might do, and create their own strange discoveries and curious contraptions.

Working alongside our dedicated Office team, children and families will use drawing, storytelling, observation and wild speculation to develop the essential skills required for life at the Office.

Funny, creative and full of mystery, the workshop invites families to become investigators, inventors and accidental experts in the unexplained.
