The Lost & Found Office of Oddities Workshop at Bede Family Hub

Bede Family Hub is a warm and inviting community space on Inverness Road, supporting families with a range of activities, services and programmes. Its welcoming setting makes it a brilliant place for children and families to explore the strange, the puzzling and the unexplained.

During the workshop, participants will be invited to train as new members of The Lost & Found Office of Oddities. They will examine unusual items from our archive, suggest what they might be, imagine where they came from and decide who may once have used them.

Families will then take part in creative activities using drawing, storytelling and invention to produce their own odd items, mysterious discoveries and curious contraptions.

The session is playful, funny and designed to spark conversation, confidence and creativity, while giving everyone a chance to become an accidental expert in the unexplained.
