The Lost & Found Office of Oddities Workshop at All Saints Family Hub

All Saints Family Hub is based on Whitehall Street in South Shields, on the site of Stanhope Primary School and within walking distance of West Park. It offers a warm and welcoming environment for children and families, making it an ideal place for a creative session of discovery and imagination.

The Office is looking for new trainee staff, and participants will be asked to put their observational skills to the test. Families will examine curious objects from our archive, suggest what they might be, imagine their stories and think about what extraordinary purpose they could have.

Using drawing, storytelling and hands-on creative activities, children and families will also develop their own strange artefacts, inventions and unexplained items.

Playful, funny and full of unexpected ideas, this workshop invites visitors to step into the world of The Lost & Found Office of Oddities and become investigators in training.
