OCAD University Placement with Little Inventors 2026
In March we welcomed our fourth OCAD student for their university placement!
Guided by the Little Inventors team, Industrial Design student David will be learning why we believe it's so important to take children's ideas seriously.
During the placement we will be joining up with Ontario based, Somerset Academy students, who will be entering their invention ideas as part of this years International School Challenge: Life Below Water. David will be bringing one lucky student's invention to life using his design and making skills.
Later in year David will be visiting Somerset Academy to share his journey into design with the younger students – telling them why he's chosen to pursue it as a creative career.
This fantastic collaboration between students from early years education all the way through to higher education is one of the things we love about the work we do at Little Inventors – inspiring creativity at every age, and showing that it's possible to make creativity a career to be proud of.
