Lit & Phil Invention Challenge 2026: Myths & Legends - Fifth Day of Workshops

On Thursday 15 October, our Myths & Legends Invention Challenge continues at the Lit & Phil with a special workshop day for home educated children and their families.
Taking inspiration from the stories, collections and historic surroundings of the Lit & Phil, our young inventors will explore myths and legends before dreaming up imaginative new inventions of their own.
They’ll develop their ideas through drawing, discussion and hands-on making, using cardboard and recycled materials to create prototypes and bring their inventions to life.
We’re looking forward to another brilliant day of creativity, curiosity and wonderfully unexpected ideas!
