The Octo Capsule

The Octo Capsule is a robot made of graphene biomimicking an octopus and swims around using water jet propulsors, searching around for plastic. The water jet propulsors work by sucking in water and then squeezing it out again. The Octo Capsule will use artificial intelligence to determine the swimming patterns of fish and other marine life to distinguish between plastic in the water vs the fish to avoid. When it finds plastic, the Octo Capsule will use it’s grabber arms to pick it up. For the micro plastics, the water jet propulsors have a filter that will collect the micro plastics when sucking in the water, and then bring them to the main storage capsule. The Octo Capsule has a homing device using GPS in it’s brain, so when it is filled with plastic, it will swim back to it’s set home, and be unloaded by scientists so the plastics can then be sent to recycling plants. Scientists can also program the Octo Capsule to follow a certain route for cleaning. This invention will help keep the oceans clean and protect them.
