Solar panels are mounted on the scooter. When the scooter is used, energy is gathered in the solar panels and this energy can be used to charge your phone and other small electronics.

This is such a great use of solar energy guys. Whizzing around on a scooter outside would soak up lots of energy from the sun, so this is really efficient thinking! The Solar Scooter would provide hours of fun and exercise whilst also contributing to a greener planet. Charging your phone using it is a really good idea, I hope your phone goes in some sort of case on the scooter though as you definitely don't want it getting bashed about! You have created a really vibrant colourful drawing too, it looks wonderful. Well done Peter and Rebecca!
