Invent Jarrow’s Play Parks of the Future!
Little Inventors is heading to Jarrow Hall’s Sustainability Festival for a weekend of imagination, invention and big ideas for Jarrow’s play parks!
WHAT CAN YOU INVENT TO MAKE JARROW’S PLAY PARKS EVEN BETTER?
On Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September, we’ll be running drop-in invention workshops where children, families and visitors can dream up new ideas for the places where people play, relax, exercise, meet and spend time outdoors.
We’re teaming up with Jarrow Forward, the partnership helping to shape Jarrow’s future, as it talks to local people about how the town’s play parks could be improved. The ideas invented over the weekend will help bring some extra imagination to that conversation.
WHAT COULD YOU INVENT?
Could Jarrow’s play parks be greener, more exciting, more inclusive or more sustainable? Could they help people get active, feel calm, make friends, enjoy nature or simply have much more fun?
Think about recycled and sustainable materials, wildlife and nature, accessibility, health and wellbeing, places to be together — or places to find a bit of peace and quiet.
Your idea could be sensible, ingenious, wildly ambitious or completely bonkers. There are no wrong answers!
