Almost three-quarters of our planet's surface is covered in water and most of it is found in our oceans. This book will teach you ocean facts and all about the cool creatures that call it home. It will guide you as you invent something that helps them live better and improves the condition of their watery world.
Think about the many areas of the ocean and its biodiversity; maybe you have a favourite animal or an ocean issue you are really invested in. Could you invent to clean up ocean waste? Cool down coral reefs? Travel to the deep, dark depths of the sea? There are no limits!

How to enter!
You can submit more than one invention idea.
Submit invention ideas through our upload page.
- Draw your inventionon the Mission Oceans Drawing Sheet
- Scan or photograph the *whole* sheetas straight on as possible
- Upload it in JPEG, PNG or GIF format (choose a file)
Each invention idea will comprise of an image of a clear drawing, the name, age and location of the inventor, the name of the invention and a description, and a contact email address.
