Sunderland Summer Challenge 2017

Little Inventors returned to Sunderland in summer of 2017 for a collaboration with Sunderland City Council, supported by the Arts Council, Cultural Spring and Big Lottery!

We challenged children in Sunderland to come up with practical, bonkers or simply ingenious ideas throughout July! A number of free workshops were held in schools and in Barnes Park to encourage children to come up and draw invention ideas .

Three of object ideas were made real by local makers and all ideas were exhibited at the Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens the following autumn.
